Call Me On My Secrets Randi sat in the principle's office with the boredest look on her face. She was almost falling asleep when she heard the door slam shut. "Mrs. Trenton it seems like you got another suspension for fighting why is that? [/i]" The principle asked in a angered tone. Randi looked at him. " I don't know. She deserved it" She said shrugging. She was'nt much for explanations. " Well, wait here as we call your mother[/i]" He said leading her out to the hall with chairs lined against the wall. Randi shrugged and sat down. She crossed her legs and waited.[/blockquote][/color]

Leighton sighed deeply as she walked down the familiar hallway, her heels clicking lightly on the hard flooring. No, she was not wearing the uniform. Why? Becuase she was not suppose to be in school right now. She had her guardian, who was some aunt she never heard of, call her in saying she would simply be out for the day, no explanation. The reason for the perfect Queen B's absent was pretty simple...
It was Friday and she was suppose to catch a flight, first class as always, to New York City to go and see her mother-though she disliked her mother tremendously. But apparently, the school had called her, saying that it was important that she come in and hand deliver the money her mother was sending to make sure the school was kept in proper order and that her daughter received the proper education so she could go to Yale, Harvard, Brown, Princeton, or whatever other Ivy League school she wanted to attend the following year. Her mother was simply doing this to keep the media from digging further into Lee's life. She was a Gospek afterall. There was enough scandal with her father being gay and having a lover and then the scandal of Leighton being mentally unstable and having to be sent away...
Her mother didn't want her fashion line to falter because of some stupidity her exhusband and daughter committed.
Leighton sat down about two seats away from some girl with pink hair, not even glancing her way. It wasn't that she was shunning her or something, it was that Lee wasn't exactly in the mood to be back in school with nothing but a clutch that held a check with quite a large sum of money on it. She knew her mother was simply trying to delay her little return for the weekend-which meant now Leighton was stuck here-the place she still did not know about.
She crossed one smooth leg over the other. Everyone knew Leighton Gospek. It was hard not to notice her, especially once they knew her name-well her name sort of gave it away-her father being some famous European actor and all. She inhaled and exhaled in audibly once as she waited patiently for the principal to do what he had to before he could simply take the check from her. Ugh.
What a waste of a perfect Friday.

Call Me On My Secrets Randi had been to busy pulling black flakes off her painted nails to instantly notice another person had entered the office. She flipped her pink hair over her shoulder and studied her now barely black nails. She was wondering what was taking so long for the principle to talk to her mother. She really didn't care about how Randi turned out anymore. She had lost her only son and husband in a car accident that she blamed on Randi. She inhaled loudly and blew it out in a huff. She had heard the girl sigh and Randi turned to actually look at her.
Randi reconqized her but couldn't place the name to her face. She never paid attention to school's popular people . She never did because it pratically bored her to tears. Gossip was only good when it was about her or Onnie, her best friend. In other cases she never cared. The principle walked out looking red in the face.
"Miss. Trenton, your mother told me that you can't behave like you have today" He said in a orderly tone that set Randi on edge. She gave him a cold glare. "It's Randi Trenton, not Miss. Trenton and my mother has no clue what's she's talking about she's insane" She stated in a matter of factly tone. For once Randi was telling the truth. Her mother was sort of crazy after the whole death thing.

Leighton glanced up slightly when she heard the principal enter the room but she made no motion toward him since he looked pretty upset. She could feel the tension thick in the air-so thick she could slice right through it with a butter knife.
"Excuse me," Leighton could feel her cheeks turn a very light rose color as she heard her own thick french accent in her voice,"monsieur," she had no idea how to say 'sir' or 'mister' in english so she stuck with the french,"if you do not mind my interjection," she had her eyes locked onto the man's red face,"You should just let it go...I'm sure she..." she seemed to be searching for the right word before the lightbulb seemed to go off in her head,"...has learned her lesson."
No she did not do it so she oculd leave faster. Leighton could honestly say that she had been in her position before, only back in France. No matter what she did-it was better to play it off as if she learned her lesson. That way the headmaster would simply let you go and grow tired of running after you anymore. It worked in Paris, it should work here in America right?
Leighton simply glanced up at the principal expectantly and patiently waiting for a response. She knew he would not cross her. Though Leighton was popular, she was oblivius to the popularity or the ripple that she had sent through the entire student body and staff at the school because of who her parents were. Leighton honestly did not care. Popularity was something she could definetly live without, something she wanted to live without. And plus, the girl with the pink hair looked interesting-and Leighton wasn't going to let her just sit there when she found 'Miss Trenton' to be insulting. Hell, Leighton did not like to be called Miss Gospek because it reminded her of her father's family and made everyone sort of gawk at her like Is that really her? sort of thing.

Call Me On My Secrets Randi's eyes clouded with anger to wards the principle. One reason she hated school was because of the authority. Randi yawned loudly and blinked at the principle. The whole waking up early thing really had her in a mess. Everyday at seven. Six for school it hurt her sleeping cycle which was out of balance from those late nights partying back in the old days. When everything was fine and her mother was not insane.
Randi heard another voice in the air and turned to look at the girl next to her. When she mentioned that Randi probably learned her lesson she held back a chuckle. Randi didn't learn anything just a new way to beat someone up. Randi kept a straight face and looked at the principle. She held up her hand and smiled. "I swear I won't break noses and punch any faces for about two months" She said smirking faintly. She realized that she always have to ruin it for herself. "Randi then, I can see that you are being honest and you are let go. Let me go get your detentions after I take care of Mrs. Gospek " He said looking at the girl next to her.
Randi had to bite her tongue from retorting. "Yes, sir" She said giving him the finger behind his back.

Leighton actually flinched at the mention of her last name. She hated it. Why did it have to remind her of so much?
At least she managed to save the gal from getting suspended or something. Detention was not such a big deal. Leighton was trying really hard to stay out of trouble. Disappointing her parents was not an option anymore. She couldn't be as reckless and rebellious as she used to be back in France. All it would do was ruin her broken family even more. Money never bought happiness-and Leighton had been trying to buy happiness ever since her parents divorced.
The sixteen year old foreign exchange student seemed to stand in one fluid motion after a few seconds, her eyes glancing gently over to Randi, not making a comment as the principal seemed to turn her attention towards him again,"Monsieur," Leighton forced herself to stay polite and sweet,"please call me, Leighton. Miss Gospek seems too formal," she gave a tiny chuckle as the rose color returned to her cheeks. She did not want to make a big deal out of it. She just really did not want to be referred to as the daughter of two billionaires. That was all she ever was: Raoul Gospek and Esme Rose's only daughter.
Leighton held the check inside the envelope lightly in her slender fingers that were free of nail polish-yeah she used no nail polish not once in her entire life. She found it a bit pointless since it would end up coming off anyways right? But she liked seeing it on other people for some reason...
"This is the check my mother sent. Hopefully it is enough," again she gave an innocent smile. Really, Leighton was abit on the innocent side. She had been homeschooled the majority of her life so the worse thing she's ever done was her drug and drinking habit-which happened when she started going to some fancy boarding school in Paris.

Call Me On My Secrets Randi watched the transaction. Her eyes slightly closing. She watched the principle walk away to go fill out the detention forms. She was left alone with the girl who also didn't like being called Miss. Randi yawned again and looked up at the girl. "Thanks, I'm Randi" She said in a tired tone. She was loosing energy quickly. The afternoon excitement hadleft her tired.
"So, I'm guessing I never met you or your new" She said waiting for the principle to come back with her various detentions and such.

Leighton glanced over at the pink-haired girl fully now. If she had her own fashion line, she knew she would end up chosing her as a model-just because of her uniqueness. Not like her mother who seemed to absolutely hate anything that was unique. Everything was always a damn clone.
"I'm Leighton," she gave her a soft smile. Leighton was hungry, to be honest, and was in the mood for either Chinese food or Sushi. Not heavy sushi-just a few california rolls would be nice.
"Yes, new from New York City," she sighed deeply, looking a bit tired herself. She was hungry but she wished she could just crawl back into bed, forget about the New York Vacation, and just sleep the rest of the day away.
"Plaisir de vous rencontrer," she said softly and then blushed again, forgetting that she was suppose to be speaking english,"It's a pleasure to meet you," she quickly corrected herself, obviously trying to force the french accent away with little to no success. Trying to sound super American was hard, even though she had basically grown up here.

Call Me On My Secrets Randi nodded. "Guess you are also French too" She said smiling faintly. She looked at the time on her pink sidekick. "Crap, almost lunch and I get to take the rest of the day off since my little fight" She said smirking as she stared at the clock on the wall to make sure it matched the time on her phone.
"Anyways, I'm going out for lunch since I have no reason to stay in the school for any more time then I need to. Wanna come?" She asked. The girl had somewhat helped her get out of some serious trouble. At least she could do was buy her lunch. "I'll pay. My mother sent me my daily allowance, so I'm full of some money" She said counting the money in her wallet.
