Full Name: Leighton Santaria Gospek
Birthday: January 1st!!
Age: Eighteen cupcakes :]
Year: Senior
Status: Single & ready to mingle!
Celebrity Avatar: Leighton Meester
Personality: Leighton probably has the simpliest yet most complex personality anyone could ever see. One thing is for sure, there are two sides to this gal. She is not your average eighteen year old...
The best cliche to describe Leighton is: She can be your best friend and your worst enemy. Yes, this just about hits the nail right on the head. In New York City, she was the gal everyone wanted to stay on her good side. Noone would ever want Lee against them unless they wanted to be broken down to nothing more than dust and ashes. This gal does not kid. You cross her, you won't live to see daylight...
But, being she is new to everything here, she can't exactly be the same b*tch she was back in her old school. She was sent here to stop living life in the fast lane and though it is very difficult for her, she is somehow making it work. She is used to the parties and drinking, being that was how she was ever since she was thirteen years old. Back home she could make you or break you-and usually she would break you. Lee has trust issues, her own family past tends to prove her point. More or less, she does not let people in. She bottles up her real emotions to keep her mother happy and content. She also has many expectations she needs to fill...
And she is trying, constantly, not to crack under the pressure.
Leighton is vulnerable, sexy, insecure, determined, outgoing, confidant, and overall-probably one of the most interesting people anyone could ever meet. She can keep people entertained-no matter what the situation. She listens to people, gives pretty damn good advice as long as they take it, and she really is a sweetheart deep down inside even if she seems like a pompous biznotch on the outside...
Afterall, noone has bothered to get to know her anymore than the surface.
Likes: sex, boys, girls, fashion, environmental science, chemistry, art, sewing, modeling, photography, running, acting, swimming, dancing, partying, drinking, smoking, school, friendly rivalry, colors, big purses, heels, bows, rice krispie treats, oreos with milk or peanutbutter, sushi, salads, winter, her father and his lover.
Dislikes: summer, people who only want her for sex, pompous boys, snobby girls, way too much black unless it is specifically for a fashion statement-and it has to be a good one, losing control, her mother(75% of the time) and her new husband, her step brother, when people click their pens too much, being used, being mistreated, rude people(even though she can be VERY rude), her birthday.
Phobias: She is afraid to fall in love and to get close to anyone.
Appearance: Leighton is, as you can already see by the pictures here, a brunette. Her curls reach just a little below her shoulders she always has her hair done nicely. Rarely will anyone ever see her with her hair a mess. Her eyes stand out, usually, because of the little amount of eyes makeup she wears, which people are surprised of. But she's beautiful-so why would she need makeup to mask the beauty? But not everything about her is 'beautiful'. Of course, like every human being on the planet, she has her flaws. She has a large scar on her chest from a chronic illness she has where she had to have surgery to try to correct it. For this reason, she is a bit insecure about herself, along with the fact that she is pretty short, if you have not seen her height already(5'4''). She is also thin, much like a model, because of a slight eating disorder she had when she was younger. Leighton, overall, has the sort of dreamy brunette look to her with a hint of seduction and a heaping pound of biznotch.
History: Rose Santaria and Raoul Gospek met when Rose was traveling across Europe promoting her brand new clothing line. Naturally, the two were put together. Though it was a bit obvious, as well, as to why Rose would want someone as free spirited and sweet as Raoul...He had/still has a whole crap load of moolah. You see, Raoul was already a well know, established actor when rose, a nobody, came along. But to hide the suspicions running through the media of him being gay, he married Rose-which his parents and her parents expected.
A complete two years later, little Leighton was born just outside of Paris, France. By then her mother had hit the top in the fashion world and her father the top of the acting world. So when Leighton was born, she was the one good news everyone wanted to hear. She received her father's dark, luscious locks and her mother's soft brown eyes. She was short, much like her mother, but overall, looked more like her father-who was dashing in his own quirky way.
Wanting Leighton to grow up Americanized, the entire family moved to New York City. Another reason? Rose had moved the center of her fashion line to NYC-upper east side Manhatten. This way, her line would be in America instead of only in Europe and Asia. Now she had the entire world wearing her clothing. As for Raoul? He could find a job anywhere-everyone knew his name anyways...
So Leighton grew up a priveledged life in the Upper East Side of New York City. She went to private, all girls schools, had become the Queen Bee in all of them, and was overall a social butterfly. She was suppose to have graduated from there, in hopes of moving on and becoming a model or actress-or even a photographer and go to an Ivy League school such as Yale or Harvard. She always made sure she got good grades-going above and beyond to win over the staff and students of every school she attended.
But, then when she was thirteen, her parents decided to throw the news right into her face. They were getting a divorce. The press was on it in seconds-and Lee, asking her opinion and all that jazz and all she did was walk away-drowning herself in alcohol and partying with people much older than her. Her father and mother didn't tell ehr why they were divorcing-just that they were. Leighton, of course, blamed her mother since her mother wasn't as sweet and nice to Leighton as her father was.
The reality? She found out, a year later, that it was because her father was gay. Leighton, honestly, thought that was the best news she heard in a long time. Though she had picked up smoking, and her father knew, he seemed to only shrug it off, saying that she was old enough to know right from wrong. Go dad...
So she met her father's new husband, Shae. Leighton absolutely fell in love with the man. He was very laid back, much like her father, and seemed to put life in a new perspective for Leighton. He told her that sometimes, trying to hide everything wasn't the best. And it taught Leighton to confide in her father and Shae and trust them through thick and thin. But then they moved to Paris, and though she still kept in touch with them regularly and on a daily basis, she misses them terribly-especially when they adopted Ying and Yang the cutest female chinese babies on the entire planet.
Then there was the issue of her mother. Her mother was always a bit of an ice princess, controlling, psychotic...the complete opposite of her fun loving go-lucky father. Numerous times her mother tended to praise Leighton's friends instead of her own daughter and would often criticize her and tell her she was too short to be in her fashion show or not skinny enough. Thus came Leighton's eating disorder, anorexia, when she was fourteen. By the time she hit fifteen, Lee had developed a heart condition, the doctors saying she was lacking nutrients that were making her heart weaker and weaker...So her mother simply said-fix it. And they did, sort of, by putting Leighton under surgery to open up her arteries better so they could absorb more nutrients. This left a scar on her-one that makes her insecure to this very day.
Leighton had never gotten along with her mother and had always tried to fullfill her expectations along with the ones from school and tried not to crackunder all the pressure. But of course, Lee did. Leighton wound up in the hospital, yet again, this time from collapsing from a suicide attempt. Obviously the suicide attempt was not successful, since one of the maids found her before she could completely drown herself in her own bathtub after taking one too many sleeping pills while chasing it down with vodka...
Sick of her 'crying out for attention', her mother sent her to this place-to learn to become an actress and hopefully become grateful for all the priveledges and other things simply handed to her in life.
Hey, Leighton might learn...
Or just keep being Leighton Gospek.

What would be a probable cause for someone to take revenge on your character? She was a biznotch to them, insulted them to stick up for someone she knew, embaressed them by 'mistake', they get a bad vibe from her on the first impression.
